Rosemary & Onion Foccacia

New Year's Day 2012---

I decided to make a resolution that I won't break:

 Bake outside my comfort zone.

Let's take bread for example.

People don't bake fresh bread for themselves anymore.

I blame the sliced bread obsession.

It's sad.

This is why I chose bread as my first experiment & I was successful to say the least.

My final result below:


My recipe came from this book: Baking Bible: From the Oven to the Table .

Some tips I can advise with this recipe:
I used a mixed of fresh rosemary & ground rosemary
Why ?
I absolutely LOVE the flavor of rosemary, but hate feeling like I am chewing and swallowing pine needles.
So I went 1/2 & 1/2.
